Akshay chosen an Olympics ambassador

He’s one of 15 celebrities invited to Canada

Akshay Kumar loves sports and also has Canadian nationality. Now, he is going to be the Indian ambassador for the Olympic Winter Games 2010, being held in Vancouver, Canada.

Only 15 International celebrities have been invited to Canada to participate in carrying the Olympic Torch, and one of them is Akshay.

At a high power lunch for 50 CEO’s of Prominent Tourism Companies, the Canadian PM will introduce Akshay Kumar as the sole torch bearer from India for the Winter Olympics.

Akshay will present the Canadian PM Steven Harper with a token of appreciation and also speak on the occasion.
